The person I spoke with this morning, did acknowledge the whole CTV and Danny White, not seeing eye to eye thing.
He said by no means is that a factor in Vitello looking to get out, and in no way is what he is doing.
Said the AD is a basketball guy and wants more $ flowing to Lady Vol basketball rather than baseball.
Idk if this is true or not, but I do know for fact, this person has some pretty good connections.
🤷‍♂️
Maybe someone else can confirm or call BS on this?

Yeah I understand, wasn't a disagreement with your take at all. I just have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that someone can be better off financially being a college coach in Knoxville, than being manager of the San Francisco Giants. Heck even just looking at actual dollars, CTV is making better money here than half the managers do in MLB, and that's before any raise that all this results in. Like others have said, if he were to go, it'd be for the challenge. The money's as good or better here.

If CT wants to manage in the bigs, I wonder if ATL is interested ? At least as a bench coach

My personal opinion, the only reason anyone should have the slap on the wrist or banned for any length of time is if they are making threats or sending pornography. If someone doesn’t like what someone else says and it affects them that badly then they can hit the ignore button. People on this site (and on the internet in general) are so thin skinned, idk how they make it in the real world.

I don’t think so. There has been plenty of name calling and demeaning things directed my way in the past but I don’t let it affect me and don’t report anything because I dish it right back where it came from. I was raised to handle your own problems, not have the internet overlords playing gatekeeper. I don’t know for sure though 🤷‍♂️
