Maybe, but he is not coaching receivers and TEs. Badly need improvement in both areas. something has to be done about all the penalties. Way too many happening this far into the season. Tackling is atrocious. my little league team I coached 60 years ago tackles better than our secondary's attempts. Play calling is again very predictable arecievers drop way too many balls. I realize we are missing two all star caliber CBs, but when we have -layers around, they must tackle with their shoulders; not their hands. When they do use their shoulders, they seldom wrap up the ball carrier. The Oline probably had their worst game of the season. We should be getting better but we are not. Some assistants have to be replaced or we will never beat Alabama or Georgia on the road.Heupel is calling plays despite what they tell you.
I agree. I have noticed for years when he coaches we do not turn our heads well and look for the ball. And tackling, geez. I think he occasionally gets kids that are just good without his coaching and makes him look good. I do think our Linebackers are OK against the run BUT they are terrible when having to blitz or cover on pass plays. See them out of position or late somewhere alot.Same old thing, Only reason last year they were good is because of transfers and an elite DL. I know it wont happen becasue Josh is too loyal, but It needs to be done.
Lol at Ty Redmond “shutting down SEC players.” Are you sleeping with Willie Martinez or something?Oh, I see what this thread was intended as! I read it as "Fire, Willie Martinez!" because he's got a 3-star true freshman Georgia didn't even sniff at shutting down SEC players at a far-better than expected rate and every CB he touches tends to get drafted. Never mind. You have fun complaining about a "problem" that 100 other CFB teams would love to have.
Ty Redmond was the 60th best player in Georgia by 247's estimation. Reflect on that for a microsecond.
