Napier fired

The first one was fired. The second one may not survive the year and has shown he doesn't have a clue with the NIL / portal. Saban has made it clear he doesn't like what is happening with the NIL / portal.
No offense but anyone who thinks that Dabo is ever getting fired from Clemson are idiots.

Dabo, not Clemson, will decide when his time at Clemson comes to an end.

This is the craziest coaching carasoul I can remember this early in the year:

Penn State
Arkansas
UCLA
Florida
Oklahoma state
South Carolina (ship is sailing on beamer)
Clemon (likely)
Florida state (likely)
Kentucky (likely)
Indiana? (does the HC leave for a big job)
Wisconsin (just horrible)
Vandy? (will Clark leave for a big job?)
Ole Miss? (Lane's definitely getting attention)
LSU? (Brian Kelly underperforming)

Those are some really big jobs, I'd hate to try to find a coach against this completion right now

I remember how stressful it was when we were in a race against just Florida a few years back and we were so afraid they were going to get Chip Kelly or Lane Kiffin.... I couldn't imagine this scenario.

Good luck with all that

They won't take Franklin. He coaches the same 2yds and a puff of dust offense that Billy Nap coaches...thats not Florida football.

They are about to make Alex Golesh the highest paid man in the state of Florida.
Lmao they will not be hiring a coach who is barely two years into his very 1st head coaching job at a Go5 school. Get real!

Franklin is getting another job regardless that's a given

Dabo is going to have to transition to modern day ball unless he wants an early retirement.

You just kick the tires on Saban regardless

They are 3-4 right now - I think they may be already going down the tubes.

They are having a down year because they had a bust in a highly rated QB they built their entire team upon. Dabo’s track record with QB’s pretty great. He just struck out on Klubnik. It’s really that simple.

My list (of realistic candidates) is Kiffin, Brohm, or Golesh. One of those three.

I'm throwing up in my mouth if it's Drink or Key.
Brohm is intriguing, but most likely not a candidate. Florida will ask, but with him at his Alma mater and on the cusp of an ACC title game appearance, it'll be hard for him to leave Louisville.

Of course, cash and opportunity talk to these guys.

Never understood the hire to begin with. Dan mullen was a much better coach

I just wonder where they turn to next?

My list:

1. James Franklin
2. Dabo Sweeney
3. Gus Malzahn
4. Alex Golesch
5. Nick Saban

So, if the Vols head coaching position opened up tomorrow, you're saying we should hire Franklin???
Not me, not never for your top three...

It's Florida...they got stupid money and will prove it in spades !!!

Honestly, my sincerest hope is they hire Golesh, he tanks, and comes back to UT as OC...or Danny White and Josh Heupel figure out a way to pay him HC cash to be OC.

It has definitely been a secret that Kiffin is after the Florida job. Literally no one has linked him to wanting that job outside of Florida boosters wanting to target him. It’s amazing how scared people are of Kiffin at a rival schools but at the same time say he’s overrated. 😂😂😂

Franklin would be homerun hire for Florida.
I wouldnt be scared of Kiffin or Franklin...they both suck especially in big games
