Not saying we didnt hurt ourselves, but acting like the refs are golden boys is insane. We should always be calling out the poor officiating, same as poor coaching and execution. Calling out the officiating for what it is and a few people always want to jump to the front of the line and be a white knight for them.Like you a lot Enki but blaming the refs for last night is a stretch. They were far from perfect but we shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly last night. Our defense on 3rd and long was a struggle. Seems like a trend this year. We just didn’t make the game changing plays and they did. I’m definitely not a ref apologist.
Again, I say this game came down to one single play. Brutal play for us but the way some of our fanbase is acting is ridiculous
Try to throw a ball to the right of you when you have a linemen reaching at ur arm and another 6’4 LB jumping in front u with him hands up. Joey literally had to change his release just to get rid of the ball. There was no open window
Ole Miss has had similar success since Heupel has been at Tennessee. Better win percentage, better win percentage against ranked teams. They have made two NY6 bowls and won 1. They haven’t won a championship yet but give him a better job in Florida and you can already see the potential. He obviously knows how to use the portal well at a slob job like Ole Miss. If he hasn’t won anything anywhere then our current boss hasnt won anything eitherCoaches who haven't won anywhere don't scare me until they do. That's just me.

I would have to watch again, but if you use your last TO even with 20 seconds left, you have can still lose out on a FG with the play call. Pretty sure we ran a play with 13 seconds left. We still had plenty of time. But you save your last TO by throwing it n first down. By running and getting stopped, you have to use it.The time does matter. Bishop was tackled with 29 seconds left and we didn’t call a TO till 9 seconds. Call a TO run for the first and you have 24 seconds left with a fresh set of downs. Instead of 9. 24 seconds lets you call whatever play you want
Officiating was way worse in the Arky game tbh. There was truly only a couple of questionable calls last night and they went against both teams. Was actually expecting it to be worse than it actually was.Not saying we didnt hurt ourselves, but acting like the refs are golden boys is insane. YepThe path is guaranteed, but likely have to close out 5-0 vs 2 more ranked teams at home, plus 2 tough road opponents.
We can't afford 3 losses imo, a 3 loss team could well get in this year, but it would be a team with a better SOS.
Lane has had other jobs as well. CJH has what, UCF?Ole Miss has had similar success since Heupel has been at Tennessee. Better win percentage, better win percentage against ranked teams.
