A run play gives you zero outs.It’s the pick six from the worst play call I’ve ever seen. Hell running a FB dive and let that being your last play woulda been better
Lol. Yet you just responded to me five times this morning. Bye!Man
I didn’t know how much better volnation is until I put @SmyrnaATLVolisback on ignore lol
I love Heupel and have said that. And keep saying it’s assistants. Never seen someone make up so much in their head and post it,I’m not gonna waste my time ****ing with you being a delusional *******
Your the leader of the CJH sucks brigade and I understand that
Your the best ignore poster to join my list
Keep up the good fight
We’re better off not having you as a fan
Dont forget to email Danny white and post things on twitter
Really good post. TyNeither of us know that for sure, but I do know that CJH is involved with offensive playcalling and not defensive playcalling outside of perhaps nudging CTB when we have a multiple score lead late in the 4th (Arkansas). But here's the thing. I do not believe CJH is a micromanaging leader. I believe he does offer autonomy to his coaching staff to better prepare them for the next level.
I think our defense (outside of secondary) has tons of talent and are not playing to our potential. Why? Because of two main factors IMO.
1) Scheme. We have become predictable and are not evolving. We are running the same things we ran since 2023. Teams have caught on.
2) Personnel.
a) Here is the number of blue-chip DT's we've signed since 2021:
2026 = D Albert incoming
2025 = Campbell and Utley (True Fresh).
2024 = None.
2023 = Hobbs.
2022 = None (I consider West a DE).
2021 = None
This will not cut it in the SEC. I believe Chop and Garner have started to fix this. We cannot continue to recruit Edge, DE, and LBers, and convert them to DT's.
b) Here is the number of blue-chip Secondary players we've signed since 2021.
2026 = Z Anderson incoming
2025 = Poteat?
2024 = Boo (nickle), Beasley (safety)
2023 = Matthews? (Gipson a 3 star but need him to play)
2022 = None
2021 = None
This will not cut it in the SEC.
Looking further, we didn't recruit well at LB either until we got Inge. Inge is fixing this issue.
2026 = Rouse and White incoming
2025 = Gass, Perlotte, Harmon
2024 = Spillman
2023 - A. Carter (and he plays like it)
2022 = None
2021 = Willis?
Are we going to sign 2 portal DT's (I'm okay with that) and 5+ portal secondary players for next year? I feel great about all offensive positions for next year with both quality and depth. I feel good about the DE and LB positions. I feel good about special teams. I believe Chop and Inge have started to fix the issues in the front 7. But Martinez and Banks are not getting it done with talent nor scheme.
A run play wouldn’t have been a good call either but it does score. Heup also let 12 seconds run off the clock and didn’t call a TO 2 plays before that.A run play gives you zero outs.
You have to trust your veteran QB to either make a good throw....or throw it away and take 3.
I'm glad Hype trusts his QB. Otherwise we might as well throw in the towel.
This is correct... this is what I said... but when will he make the changes and if he will make the changes after 5yrs is what has folks going off...Poster I4Jay nailed it before he was hired. He said our offensive concepts would be majorly upgraded but his teams lack discipline and fundamentals. It’s why he needs a true OC and better DC. He could win championships by changing his staff and taking outside help on a few things.
That's not good. UK has played both OM and Texas very very well at home.Really amazing...that Kentucky vs Texas box score.
Kentucky has 26 first downs to Texas' 8
395 total yards to 179
258 passing yards to 132
137 rushing yards to 47
39:23 TOP to 20:37
And they lost by 3 in OT...How is Stoops still employed?
You have confidence your QB doesn’t make such a horrible throw behind the receiver where you throw it only where he can catch it OR it’s out of bounds. Joey just threw one of his worse throws this year. I’m ok with a fade call to Chris BUT still have to throw it where only he can catch it or out of bounds. Bad throw could still be a big issue.I don't mind going for it, but I will say the play choices were bad.
We pick up the 4th and 1 (one of many questionable spots by officials)
after a TO
1st and 10 an incomplete pass... 33 seconds left
2nd down, 9 yard run 21 seconds left
3rd down 3 yard run 13 seconds left
1st and goal a 1 yard run then we take our last TO
So 9 seconds left and it's 2nd & goal...we come out of 2 timeouts (ours then Bama took one after we lined up) and call that horrible pass to the flats that gets picked for a TD the other way.
My question is why in that situation with 9 seconds left are we looking at any pass other than 1 on 1 fade to Brazzell?
That's not good. UK has played both OM and Texas very very well at home.
We cannot take them lightly. Throw their record out the window. Another dogfight in store for us.
