Heupel’s weight and facial scruff

Can the dude lose some weight? i mean for health reasons alone and it would probaly give him a little fire and energy on the sidelines during the games. He wasn’t a big dude in college best i remember. And also shave or grow a beard out make up your mind, his look is so slobbish looking and...

Last night was just crazy.. Every time we had a chance to put the pressure on we shot ourselves in the foot . Couple bad throws couple balls that should have been caught just happened at a bad time. But for the life of me I can't understand some of the coverages in zone defense. Example the 3rd and 2 both LBs dropped about 10-15 yards . I can see one dropping but the one on the TE side has to stay closer to defense the route. That's so easy to complete it's just beyond comprehension for that to happen. Was it a blown assignment or bad philosophy. I just don't like how our linebackers and safeties play in space in zone coverage, guess you also have to include the DBs. Banks just don't seem to be getting anyone playing better in zone coverage . Losing McCoy and Gibson was devastating having to rush these young guys in full time.

Agree but we did shoot ourselves in the foot A LOT. That is the part that frustrates me the most. alabama is not that much better than we are.

Defense played pretty well til the end but those two 90+ yard drives we gave up was back breaking, especially since on 1st drive we had them dead to rights and gave up a 1st down on 3rd and 13 from the Bama 5 or 6 yard line..The other defining drive was when we had the guy dropped for a 15 yard loss on the attempted trick play but couldn't tackle the WR and gave up a gain of yardage...

If you’re talking about Braylon Staley, he lined up on and close to the line and was supposed to “check in with the ref” as eligible and/or Joey should have recognized it. At least that’s what Bama McElroy said.

Ultimately got to give credit, their DL won its matchups, frequently. The last drive of the game, was really deflating. The OL cant always have a hone crowd. It won its matchups too.

Not sure what changed within the 20 yard line. Would've like to be more creative around the run game there.

Bama's LBers and DB's are also as good of athletes as our guys.!
