The most disappointing part is actually

And my point is you're sounding like Auburn fans. "We're 5 plays away and 3 bad officiating calls from being 5-0".
They are who they are, and theyre not very good.
Not five plays, one. It's just reality, dude. I mean if saying we just suck and never had a chance makes you feel better because the fact we had our chance and blew it hurts too much, fine, but I'm not joining you in your delusion.

Another play away from beating georgia. Im sure when theyre 8-4 we'll talk about how they almost went undefeated and next year will be the year.

Nah the most disappointing part is thinking about all the mentally-challenged Bammer broodlings who'll emerge from the black viscous depths of their crimson egg sacks next July. Or however it is they procreate in Alabama. I don't watch Animal Planet so I don't know how it works down there.

Absolutely. We score there instead and it's a completely different game.

To me the other big sequence was not being able to drive for a score after the Simpson fumble. We get points there and make it a one-score game and who knows?

Even Banks' blitzes weren't getting home, Simpson was essentially untouched all night, and the tackling late got really shoddy.
I noticed a lot of new names late in the game on the defensive side.

Alabama would beat OSU in Tuscaloosa. Having to start your "depth" due to injury hurts.

Heupel definitely owns some of it. But you gotta be able to trust your qb at the end of the half like that. No wY he should’ve thrown that ball
The idiotic play calling lost us this game! That’s not on Joey, he runs the stupid plays that were called! We had a safety because our stupid OC and HC forgot we even had a RB and we tried to throw it 3 straight times. That got us backed up and instead of trying to. Run the ball at that time we again have a throwing play that in turn ended as a sack and safety! On the one yard line we again forget we have a RB that rarely ever loses yardage anywhere on the field and decide to again throw the ball. Lay the blame where it should squarely lay and that is on idiotic play calling by our OC and HC! We tried the strategy of throwing to open the run game up, instead of the tried and true, RUN to open the throw game up and we saw how well it all turned out.

poor poor coaching
Our coaching staff is weak.
RG is decent but not what he used to be.
The rest are below average bought on the cheap.
The talking heads keep talking about Banks making a good head coach, I wish some school would come get him!
Linebackers and secondary are pathetic.
Aggressive D line with Passive back end is a recipe for losing to good teams.
Offense really choked tonight. Bishop was the only bright spot.
It was an embarrassing game!
Not only for the fans, but more so for the players and coaches. Regressing at a crucial point of the season…….

That pick 6 was a 10 point swing. Take field goal instead of pick 6 and you change score by 10….
Crazy thing is we held Simpson to his lowest passing total of the season. Jam Miller rushed 12 times for only 15 yards. Bama had their second lowest total yards of the season and it was just 25 yds from being their lowest.
Bama did NOT have a running back with even 50yds and they did NOT have a WR with a 100 yds..
But they won by 17 points ugh.

Look, we had no timeouts. We had to throw at the end of the half. Joey should have never thrown that ball.. maybe it wasn’t a great play design. But at worst you throw it away

We actually out gained them in total yardage and we outrushed them as well. The pick 6 and safety killed us, take that 14 point swing pick 6 away and it’s a close game. We have to quit beating ourselves. Turn the offense loose and play the most talented guys at linebacker. We got to tackle better in the open field. A few drives were very weak in tackling.

It was a seven point swing heh. We stopped them the next series
Well you know, they scored a pick six. If we score there, they don't have 7 extra points, and we do. Not hard to understand. Plus, to your point, we'd be up by 5 points after the stop and score in the 3rd quarter. Even if we had to kick a field goal there, that puts us up 1 point.

It was a bad play call for where we were, even if you have to throw the ball which I don’t believe you did because Bamas run defense sucks, but even IF you just have to throw the ball the play call was terrible. It’s either a fade that has no chance of really getting picked, a throw to the TE over the middle. Thats not what that play call was and it was a stupid play call! Again though, Bama rush defense is terrible, so run the damn ball until they prove they can stop it! They are ranked 95th for a reason, but our idiot coaches couldn’t figure that out.

The defense overall this year and Heupel's lack of awareness when it comes to clock management are the most disappointing things. There are tons more but those two stick out like a sore thumb.

I agree that it should’ve been a fade route.
But you can’t risk getting stuffed and leaving with no points. The call had to be a TD or a field goal

Vols just played too sloppy to take advantage of it..
