Y’all could be hit with a baseball bat and say it was a broom to not believe what you are watching. It’s piss poor coaching, player development, and playing average players for rewarding their hard work.

It was one disastrous play that cost us. Let’s quit pretending this was a Saben era blow out. Good grief. Some yall are crazy lol

@Ulysees E. McGill you are right. Banks doesn’t have the horses. Actually offense isn’t there yet either. Shot ourselves in the foot all night. Some blame on coaches but players didn’t make plays when they had the opportunity. Also we win that game with McCoy and Gibson.

Our Dline is better overall, we have a first round CB, our back is better, our WRs are better, oline is toss up. Sure they have LBs and safeties 100%. QB as well.

4 times the talent is absurd.

This defense is not near good enough to win out. Those guys are terrible. Forcing your wimp conservative coach to score 35-40 a week bc your defense is trash is not gonna work against OU, FL and this years Vandy.

Feels like 4 losses. Which was par for the course in July. But we’ve seen this team play and know they can be better than that. Not good for the staff’s perception.

I don’t think anyone realizes the investment that is given to football and all the resources. We spend way too much for this poor of a looking team. We brought in numerous very expensive analysts (Seth, Alan, Hobby, etc.) and numerous raises to average players. We won’t make the playoffs this year and who cares if you make the playoff and get embarrassed first game. We haven’t won anything of importance in decades and we act like we are somehow doing so well. We haven’t played for an sec championship since 2007 and we haven’t won a title since 1998. I’m glad we are all so ok with winning a few more games and nothing of real merit. Lady Vols basketball has a great chance at a title this year due to recruiting and coaching. Men’s basketball has a great shot due to coaching and recruiting. Same with baseball. Who in there right mind would say we are close to winning a title in football? And next year will be year six for Heupel. We need to wake up and stop making excuses.

Two things:

1. Just say it. Say you think we should fire Heupel and this staff. Say it with your chest. Don't beat around it.

2. And how long did it take Barnes to take that abysmal program to the point that it's at? In a sport where it's much, much, much easier to completely flip a roster and with far less sanctions than this staff dealt with.

Coaching was not good. Going for two for no reason so early put us at a 3 score deficit instead of a 2 score deficit.

Terrible play calling/execution cost us this game.
