Your hatred of Florida is blinding you. Yes, I think the Florida job is better than Penn State. And South Florida and Missouri, and Ga Tech and Vandy and Ole Miss and about 100 other programs. Looking at the schedule:

At Kentucky - is going to give us fight on the road. They just took Texas to OT and lost. But we should still win. 6-2

Oklahoma - dark mode, Neyland, Heup's still got a grudge, Mateer looking awful. Dub. 7-2

New Mexico State - win. 8-2

at Florida - Look, I just don't see us losing this game. Florida is bad and might be coachless at this point. Win. 9-2

Vandy - anything can happen here, but its a home game. Pavia might have beat himself up so much by this point it'll be easier to manage. So I'll still call it a win. 10-2.

Could we finish 8-4? Yes. Could we win out? Yes.

I also think at Florida could be a game we “exercise some demons” in. Also think Gators could be thin by then. Will have to play Georgia & Ole Miss before we come to town and 6 losses is gonna have Napier out.

Bama was better tonight, but not THAT much better IMO

Tennessee just has to avoid the explosive diarrhea in the bed moments.

Everything is still ahead of this team and I’m proud they didn’t just lay down in the 2nd Half. Previous teams would’ve gotten drug by 35 points.

Bama was cleaner tonight, that was the difference in the game

Beginning of the year I said 9-3 with losses to UGA, and then losing 2/3 to Bama, OU, or UF. I’m still saying 9-3.

BUT my pessimistic side is now coming out and I can also see 7-5. Which God help Heupel if he goes 7-5 in his 5th year.

I had this as an 8-4 rebuilding year heading into the season, and we are exactly where I thought we’d be at this point in the schedule.

But anything can happen from here

Hopefully the defense takes a few positives from this one and we carry momentum the rest of the way
