'25 Recruiting Forum: Official TSIO Alabama vs Tennessee Pre-game/Game Thread

The offense is still fighting.

I'm going to have to revisit after the sting of this teams implosion tomorrow. But the impulsive reaction after this loss is this team isn't very good.

I know we're young but we look ill prepared and not very well coached. If it's truly a talent issue that goes right back to coaching because it wasn't addressed.

I've seen a lot of losses to Alabama, but I saw two fairly equal rosters... Need to think about the loss once anger leaves me...... And that's the thing, this loss has made me angry in ways others haven't.

That going for 4th down on our side of the field unsuccessfully against Bama in 2023 broke Heupel. He hasn't been a gunslinger since.
I think it's more that he started winning games by going conservative (not saying he wasn't before). But he also had a solid defense in 2023 and 2024.

CJH did not lose this game
The back 7 on defense sucks
The dropped passes sucked
The pick 6 was a 14 point swing

Bama has 4 times the talent we have
And all of that in bold is on the man in charge.
It’s why he earns the big $$$ to see that we have the talent and it’s coached well enough so them things don’t happen.
So as is true for every head coach, every loss is ultimately on him.
