Not with 9 seconds left. You absolutely run another play before attempting a field goal.

And you spread the guys and run a normal play. If you want to go all in on the next you can run. You don’t go jumbo package on 2nd down with 9 seconds when the world knows you’re throwing the ball.

Heupel is not the guy. I’ve seen enough of him. The red flags have been there for a while. It’s always the same sloppy, undisciplined, football every week. He can’t put crappy teams away and can’t win on the road. He won’t get rid of his terrible assistants. He never learns from his mistakes and can’t figure out clock management. He’s done a better job than his predecessors but he’s not the guy.
