It was bound to happen... I would have been shocked if he wasn't good enough to become the starter. It isn't like UTC is a football powerhouse.

Every time I think about this (which is almost never), I can't help but think "what a loser."

Awesome.

This is just like that time I got all badass and lead my church league basketball team in scoring, right after not making the cut for varsity.

We all see what Flaco did after leaving Pitt...and going to Delaware..... not that BJ will be that good...but ya never know????????

I really don't get you guys sometimes.
Why? Because we aren't throwing verbal bouquets to a talentless spoiled brat who didn't want to actually compete for his spot, then attempted to use the drooling stooges in the Chattanooga media to spread halfthruths and outright lies about how he was treated by the coaching staff?

Joe Flacco has immense physical talent and Delaware is a perennial FCS power. BJ Coleman is a stiff and UTC's program should be disbanded. Other than that, it's a great comparison.

I was listening to the local radio here in Chattanooga and heard that they made Coleman the starting QB. Certainly not any surprise in that decision but maybe a little on the timing. It wasn't expected for there to be a starter to named at the position until we were closer to the beginning of the season but he has more than impressed the coaches and secured it outright in the very first week.

Good for him, this is what he wanted. I'll probably go see him play a couple times this year while I wouldn't have otherwise. Win Win for all those involved.
