We hear this every year. Sometimes a good coach has to do more with just good players. Plenty of teams have an elite defense with just good players.

Maybe not, but you can't tell me 15 teams in the conference have that much more talent. Not saying top 5 or anything but UT should never be 15th best in a 16 team conference.

I agree 100%. I don’t care for Martinez at all.

Banks? IMO, he struggles to adjust throughout the game.

No excuse for the D to be this poor. None! Too much talent.

Candy’s D is much better than ours. And they don’t have the individual talent we do. They are more disciplined with spacing, maintaining gaps and setting the edge, and tackling. We take horrible angles - reminds me of the Sunseri yrs.

Gotta force an incompletion and get some sort of stop to stop the clock. Offense has provided Bama with poor field position. Yet defense does nothing with that advantage.
