Danny have given him everything he has asked for.

If Tony’s ego is so big he thinks he can actually be successful at the MLB level, then there is nothing Danny could do to change his mind.

What I wonder is why he'd choose to live in San Fran with all the things going on out there right now not to mention the tax rate. Wonder just how much more is San Fran offering him?

Oh geez. Had not seen his report. I'm gonna go start drinking now. Hopefully, I'll be passed out by the time we kick off tonight. Then again losing to bama won't hurt me nearly as much as losing Vitello. Killed me to lose Dickey and then Majors, but this one tops them both.

I am aware I’m part of the full blown meltdown, but I’m walking around my house doing chores before the football game and I have to find somewhere to channel this sadness. I will deal with people telling me I’m embarassing because this day sucks.

He’s going to make something $8M/year and is single with no kids. Cost of living won’t be a problem out there.

The only thing is whoever leaked this from SF 4 hours before our biggest game of the year in football deserves to be flogged

If you did not have an Elander on staff I could see this being awful. Elander is a homerun hire.

TN can't pay what San Fran could...... at the end of the day college athletics are a business. Danny has to draw the line somewhere.

Is just the math 5.8 million in San Francisco is = to 3 million in knoxville. Obviously can get around parts of the expenses but the math is what the math is

He just said “break even” and he’s not far off. SF cost of living is 88.77% higher than Knoxville. $3MM in Knoxville equates to $5.663 MM needed in SF to break even.
