I certainly hope so.

Very surprised to see Bama with so few freshmen, though. Is DeBoer’s HS recruiting not going well or something? I seem to recall Washington fans saying he barely recruited out of HS and relied on the portal to recruit, so I’m curious on whether he’ll continue that at Bama or not.

Their strategy is to identify 2 & 3 year starters at other schools in P4 & G5 who can play in the SEC. They offer them 1 or 2 years to get a Vanderbilt degree or if the player has graduated start a Vandy MBA. Most aren’t long term NFl prospects. I suspect Vandy to be competitive going forward.
