Sister Jean Passed Away

"Sister Jean Dolores Schmidt, BVM — who became world-famous as the chaplain and biggest fan of the Loyola University Ramblers men's basketball team — has died. Sister Jean died Thursday, Oct. 9, the university confirmed. She was 106."
I remember her. A true 'superfan' & lady of grace. She indeed lived a full life.

Great lady and a true icon. Having said that, I 100% blame her for that deciding shot in the game that they made and cost us a run to the final 4. It hit the BOTTOM of the rim and somehow (insert Sister Jean influence here) bounced UP and went in.
No other ball in the history of basketball from that angle and spin has hit the right side of the rim, near top of the right side of the backboard and spun back the opposite way to go in.

I've never quite understood, or had much use for, nuns - especially when they root for the wrong team.
However, I hope all die-hard Vol supporters can live as long as she did.
