Opinion: I'd like to see Golesh get the Penn State job

Agree. Let them hire a Midwest retread who "knows the Big 10", which will hopefully lead to a long down period for an arrogant fan base and program that deserves exactly that.

Golesh would kill his career going to the Big Ten.

There should several SEC jobs opening up. Personally, Golesh would be a prime match for Auburn when they kick tires on Freeze

I'd be a little surprised if Penn State brings in Schiano instead of leaving the scandal in the past and try to distance themselves from it as much as possible.

I think one possibility is a "trade" with Lea going to Penn State and Vandy offering Franklin his old job back.

In my opinion, that would be an interesting pairing because Penn State needs to come into the 21st Century offensively and Golesh would also bring the old school disciplined approach they say they value up there. But more importantly, I don't want him landing a job in the SEC. Golesh taking the Florida job is the ultimate nightmare scenario for us

Any coach in their right mind will avoid that job. You don't fire a coach after a 13 win season.

Rhule isn't an upgrade over Franklin, but I hope they hire him.
I see why they fired Franklin, but it is a heavy lift to hire someone better.
