I also saw ET in the movie theatre in 1982, in Memphis, and was 7 years old. 😂 I went with my mom, though.

I have a sports cartoon somewhere that I cut out of the Knoxville News Sentinel probably 35 years ago referencing this game. It shows a guy in a Michigan sweatshirt asking the bartender of a sportsbar “ can you please put on my Michigan game?” The bartender responds “ Sir, its the third Saturday in October and I have only 51 TVs and ALL 53 of them are on the Tennessee/Alabama game”

My weekend to work. However, in an odd turn of events, I'll be going home early tonight, because they need me on day shift tomorrow. I'll get home just after kickoff tomorrow night! It's all lining up for me to see us win!

I should probably start a thread about this, but does anyone know if there is a repository of Daniel Proctor's work anywhere?

It would be cool to post his cartoons for whoever we play each week for the young'ums.

I’m making muffuletta sandwiches tonight for dinner. Going to my sisters house tomorrow to carve pumpkins with the kids. I have been going back and forth with if I’m going to watch the game or not. I don’t feel like being neurotic in front of others lol. If we win, I will have a fabulous Sunday going back to watch it.
