Same with McCoy but people keep hanging onto hope that the 2024 McCoy is magically going to be available. At this point Hood and Redmond are the starters and they are the best we have.I don’t know why people keep talking about Gibson. He’s out for the year. We’ve known he’s been out for the year since September. He should be back next season. But he is not a possibility to play in any game for the rest of this year and has not been since September.
Uga played like crap that game, looked bad. If they had played them like they played us it was a win for ga.
I would bet he plays. Maybe doesn't start, but I bet he gets some carries.I saw his hit/injury. If Bama allows him to play Saturday then they blatantly don’t care about the long term health of their players.
It will be rare for someone as concussed as he was to play the very next week. The man was knocked out and then was staggering all over the place. GBO

I wonder how our defense will feel about popping him hard so soon after that concussion. Another big hit or concussion this soon could be really bad for the kid.
What makes it different is Nico didn’t appear knocked out nor did he stagger around badly. But I agree that there are degrees of concussions. Heck half our fans wanted us to hold Nico out that game, I wasn’t one of them because I knew our medical staff would have never cleared him if he wasn’t ready. I am sure Bama’s medical staff will not clear him if he isn’t ready. As a Tennessee fan it’s worth giving them a little grief about it just because the look of the hit and him staggering badly wasn’t a good look. But I wish him a full recovery. GBOwe seem to forget, Nico got concussed last season and played the next week. There are degrees of concussions. Some are not so bad and recovery can be quicker... I know, someone will say I saw it and it was bad. There is no medical way to know that from watching on TV.
If he can't play, medical will not clear him to play IMO
