Eat right, Run..bike..work out..swim..yoga..and die anyway. What’s your health and workout plan

Where do you hike in cades cove? The fastest trail up to Rocky Top starts at the campground there.
Have family from new York here for the game so it was more an easy walk than a hike. Started at the ticket booth and went to Oliver cabin then to the burial place and back. Didn’t turn off the time while looking at the cabin or site seeing lolIMG_3674.jpeg

Alright. So I’m going to get back in running shape for the cow harbor 10k in New York next year.
I was regularly at a 9 minute pace for 5 miles last year.
Mike died and so did my motivation. I’ve run maybe 4 times since then. Started back Saturday on vacation. This is my second trip out. Gabby and Gus went with me.
Man I’m slow, old and fat. IMG_3708.jpegIMG_3707.jpeg

Slice... you are faster than the person sitting on the couch. That's the way I like to look at it!! You got this... slow and steady will get you were you wanna be

Tin when you ride do you go for distance or time or just kind of whatever you are feeling that day?
Whatever I’m feeling. Keep in mind that I’m back on the bike since June, after an 8 month hiatus during cancer treatment. The past three months, most of my rides have been training rides, with a few exploring rides. I’m working my way towards longer distances in the future.

Glad to hear you're making a great recovery!

This may sound like a dumb question, but anyone have advice on learning to enjoy doing legs? I'm tall-ish and lean, and I've always hated squats, DL, etc. I wish I had a nice leg press rack, but I'm really out of room to add one in the gym. I do cycle and ruck now, but those aren't really going to build muscle mass, I don't think.
