After the bubba game the broadcast put that DeBoer is 12-2 with the black hoodie. I’m in a crowded place but that is that a headline they posted? Lol

It’s been a thing for a while. He wasn’t in it against FSU so now they are making a story line out of it

Just an educated guess:

The black hoodie is a distraction from the real variable - Bama wins aided by SEC referees

Unfortunately for Bama, the game in Tallahassee was officiated by an ACC crew.

Most athletes are somewhat superstitious to some level. Most broadcasters are former athletes. Makes sense that someone found something “lucky” related to their success.

Mostly this. It's why teams will stick with a certain uniform combo and things like that.
