You can have all the offense, but if you can't stop the other team, you will not get far. Right now Ala has the best receiver Corp in the nation. You play zone, they will eat you up. Banks better be ready or vols will be embarrassed greatly in Bama

Yes; yes you do. The question is „why you haven’t gotten them cleaned up after telling us that they need to get cleaned up.
This defense looks LESS clean each week, not better.

I fear that „get some things cleaned up“ is about as meaningless as Fulmer constantly saying they were going to „work like heck“.

The coaches are in control of this switch. They have turned on the prevent defense, try to get some tackles for loss, keep everything in front of you defensive scheme in support of the secondary. They can flip that switch back anytime they want and leave it up to the players execution. The secondary has had 7 weeks to get ready, it's time to stand on your own. Free the defense!

I’d say a big reason why is we get to the QB better than any other team in the nation. They’ll get yards, but they’re not gonna run away with this game. Arky’s QB was the most elusive that we’ll face all year, it could’ve been a lot worse for them if he wasn’t.

Since when has time of possession kept us from scoring?? If we dont put up 40 it will be because we shot ourselves in the foot with penalties, or they were able to get us off the field by turnovers and 3rd down stops.

Yeah, it was great making their run game completely ineffective while building a 34-17 lead.

They rushed for 112 in the second half. That's hardly "ineffective". Got 2 fumbles, but the defense was still being gashed in the rushing game.
