Kiffin has perennial loser Ole Miss in the playoff picture every year….Ole Miss. he’s doing more with less and you can easily make the argument that he’s a better coach than Josh.
Not quite. He’s never made the playoff. Lost to UK last year…and he’s taking talent in the portal.

That was Farooq, wasn't it?
Yeah, that's pitiful.
Son, you have to come up and smack a ball carrier in the mouth.
Not to mention, putting your head down like that can get you seriously injured if you do make contact.
He did the same thing 2 weeks ago against miss st. Piss poor effort & technique. We need to spend more “resources” on safeties next season.

Thats just a really good offensive play call for that defensive scheme. Tennessee was caught in man. Reciever went in motion corner follows. Tennessee was even to the strength 4 players for 4 players. Arkansas ran buck sweep. They brought 1 extra blocker to the strength and won their 1 on 1 match ups.
You can't fault the saftey for what he did. His job is contain so by rule he had to attack the outside shoulder of the pulling guard. If you want to fault anyone fault the LB for coming to far toward the LOS before trying to get over top of the TEs down black. If he would have immediately get over top of the down blocks that could have been a 3-4 yards gain.

Side note great hustle play from Tyree West there

I think "protected class" shifts from week to week. We get calls too sometimes that don't make much sense but we tend to gloss over them because they favor us. There are definitely narratives CFB is interested in upholding, but I saw FSU get all the calls in week one vs. Bama and then Bama get them on the road against Georgia.
That's why I said "Truly"...those are the ones that have always get positive manipulation from the Officials.

It always blows my mind that people..even people that really understand sports, don't seem to realize how much that manipulation effects the outcome.

For instance, by letting one teams OL get away with placing headlocks and arm bars on defenders, while calling holding on the other team a few times, especially on 3rd down, thus changing the aggressiveness that teams blockers can play with, they can vastly change the score.

Or by letting one teams defenders literally maul receivers all over the field, while calling ticky tack questionable PIs on the other team...especially on 3rd downs...that also really screws with the score.

You know all the rest of their other dirty sneaky tricks, either in calling or missing depending on which side is getting the favorable treatment...questionable personal fouls...questionable targeting...questionable ball spots...and questionable procedural penalties...etc...etc..etc..

The crews that are good at the corruption are really good at covering their tracks, like mixing in a few harmless calls at non-crucial moments so the tally looks respectable, but the bad ones, which it seems is most of them nowadays, don't even try to hide it anymore.

Linebackers have been a recurring problem. Most often Teelander.

Defensive sets against Arkansas, particular the wide sets on 2nd down just helped to create wide open running lanes. I can only guess it was an attempt to keep Green in the box considering our issues with setting the edge. They out schemed us consistently Saturday.

So Kiffin has some participation trophies for being “in the playoff picture?” He’s never once gotten them in the CFP. Josh has.
