Not complaining about the offense, but what happened to all the motion and cool wrinkles we saw most of the game against Georgia? Did we only install those things for one game?

Good thing TFL and sacks are super important right? Several times our coverage allowed the DL to get to the QB last night. Many times the QB had nowhere to go with the ball. It's never going to look perfect. Especially in SEC games.

Stats are we are 5-1. They don't give awards for shutting teams out. The debate isn't going to stop though and I'm certainly not going to end it so I'll just leave it be.

So the Basilio post-game crew brought up an interesting point. Would you be for firing Banks if it cost you Rodney Garner? In other words, the new guy doesn't retain him or he chooses to retire. I'm on the fence myself.

Sacks Allowed: 1st (tied with Vandy for fewest)
Sacks: 1st

Negatives:
Rushing Defense: 10th
Passing Defense: 16th (worst in the league)
Opponents First Downs: 15th (only Arkansas is worse)
Penalties Committed: 9th (Bama & UGA have fewest in the league I’m so shocked)

The takeaway is that our offense is excellent and we really lucked out with Aguilar. This part is fun to watch until Heupel gets conservative. However, our defense is so bad that if our offense has a bad day we could get really embarrassed.

I mean yea winning matters definitely shields a lot but in depth it’s not championship defense with a suspect DC.we want a natty but 5 and 1 is nice too..
