Our defense is what it is this year. Opportunistic at creating turnovers and sometimes timely stops. That Arkansas offense is pretty dang good and put up over 500 yards on ole miss early this year. Doesn’t help with having two starting corners not to mention an all American out. This team really needs the offense to capitalize as much as we can when the defense creates turnovers. Any win is a good win. Go Vols and beat bama next week!

The Razorbacks’s first nine rushes went for a total of 96 yards. Arkansas didn’t just stay in front of the sticks but created a number of explosive plays on the ground. It was a consistent stream of offense in the first half when Arkansas rushed for 157 yards.

But Tennessee slowed the Razorbacks down a decent bit in the second half. Arkansas rushed for just 83 yards in the second half with a number coming on scrambles. That largely forced Arkansas to be one dimensional, allowing Tennessee’s pass rush to tee off. That group continues to be one of the SEC’s best, recording five sacks

The strategy is clearly let the opposing team run up and down the field until they tire themselves out. Come on guys, Banks is actually a genius... Seriously though they cant play zone worth a shat.. If the line doesn't get there they can't hold up on the back end.. Green hit a bunch of slants and late crossing routes after the linebackers vacated. You cant give a good QB that much time..

Line play has always been good. Beyond that, it's sucked everywhere else. Always out of position and holes everywhere. We constantly get picked apart and gashed. Always been like that

Offense failed to convert on a 3rd and short that could have ended the game. That is what he is probably talking about. The defense did the job in the 3rd quarter and much of the 4th. If the offense could have converted that 3 and 1 they would have only given up 7 in the 2nd half.

Without a stud DL coach Banks just a mid DC. Got bailed out last year by a great DLine class, good DL coaching, and decent DBs....that were allowed to walk (Thomas). Injuries in the secondary have killed us and the LBs have been really bad...but that's nothing new in a Banks system. Bama will kill us as we sit back in a soft zone on 3rd downs and give the Bama WRs 10 yds cushion.

This defense is bad - period. Coming into today . . . They were next to last . . . Only ahead of Arkansas. They don’t stop the run. They don’t play good pass defense unless they get to the QB and create a turnover. Even the TFL are mostly meaningless as they regularly give up 2nd and long / 3rd and long chunk plays. It’s like watching 4th and long Florida throw a 40 yard TD against Fulmer.

They do two things well - sack the QB and create turnovers. But the QB sacks end up in teams converting anyway.

Book it - Bama will hold way worse than Arky and get away with all day.

Our only chance to beat Bama will be to be plus 2-3 in the turnover category . . . And score 48 plus points.

Bama will abuse this defense like a hot knife through butter.

You spin it however you like. The facts are going to remain the same. Ark is gonna win about 4 ball games this year and you’re over here thumping your chest like we just won the natty.

And yes Ol MS will be their only opponent when you look back. ND is going to be the same overrated ND. Abd Memphis may sneak in due to their weak conference and proceed to get beat by 40 in a playoff game.
