So much division within Volnation and especially the pregame and first quarter. Seems BVS may actually be a real thing. I am curious of my fellow posters and how you guys and gals view yourselves.

That makes you a realist. However, if you state why we aren’t a great team, you will be labeled a nega so be careful. Or, if we win and you don’t act like beating this Arkansas team is the greatest win ever, you will be a nega.

It’s not being a negavol to see how bad the defense performs against anyone with a pulse offensively. This board never ceases to amaze

Labeled a negavol when anything negative is said even when its true i knew Arkansas was going to give us a problem because our defense is terrible and can't tackle....I expected more from the offense but this is typical after bye week performance

The team doesn't look well coached. Choking against Georgia and close game against Miss State already has me concerned. This looks even worse. We probably need to implement some major changes. Tennessee just plays too soft. They don't play like an aggressive boxer that is trying to climb out of the shadows to win something, they play like a team trying to not lose.

Some people on this board use “negavol” as a buzzword. Too many people expected this game to be some 70-0 blowout, and any insistence that Arkansas might put up a single score would have people calling you “scared” lol.

I think we’ll win this game in the end. We’re clearly the better team, imo. But still. Some people just get too up in arms on here.

It's just a lot of us are optimistic realists ... and too many are pessimistic realists.

And Cavput is an example of a particular kind of pessimist, called a "defensive pessimist" (real psychology term). That's a coping strategy used to reduce anxiety.

Those are the real BVSers.

Watching some of the highlights from the pregame and halftime shows, there seems to be many slow backs in college now a days.

i’m owning up to being a sunshine pumper! However, it’s out of desire for the team to perform and win. PLUS, I like stirring the pot, it’s what I learn to do throughout both my Military and Fire Department careers.

5. Battered Vol fan, don't really care if they lose early so you can move on with fall chores and hunting early.
