and we have 6 in the box. make it make sense. need to get the safeties involved. if we get beat deep so be it. can’t keep giving them 15 yards per carry or whatever it is

I can't explain that no more than I can explain why TN didn't run the ball after the Turnover

I agree. However,if MM keeps running,he's scoring.
But,it didn't happen.

You’re getting 6 yards a carry running it. You’re getting 8-10 yards on the short passes and you take repeated deep shots? Just drive down and score

That’s the literal thing you cried about during the Georgia game.

So you don’t bring extra pressure and just let him sit in the pocket all day? Or take off on a run? The blitzes worked most of the time. We sacked him a few times and forced some bad throws. We were in a position to win. Conservative play calling cost us the game.

I said earlier in the week it would take a turnover in Georgia territory to win. We got it and what did we do? Run up the middle three times instead of going for the kill. It’s a lesson to learn for this coaching staff.

We are struggling at safety IMO.

This is the worst tackling team I've seen this season. DL doesn't hold their spots and it's like the red sea parting. Hard to believe our defense can be this bad even with all the losses.

And to think many people including myself thought the defense wouldn’t regress too much from last year.

I didnt think wed be as good as last year, lost too much up front...but I surely didn't think wed be this bad. This is headed towards being the worst defense weve had since JH has been here.
