I understand the Super Fans don't want to say that Tennessee has issues on the defensive side of the ball but the injury excuse is old as time because EVERY team has injuries ...

At what point does not having four starters play the first 5 weeks become the reason for the defensive setbacks instead of an excuse?

To me, an excuse is more like 'well the crowd was really loud, that's why...' or 'it rained and that's why...'

Your down four starters including an all American corner feels more like 'yeah, that tracks'
