What RB potential targets are in South Carolina?
He’s just covering a geographic area, opposed to recruiting the position he coaches.

There’s like 15 recruits Tennessee is actively recruiting in South Carolina

Now that I’ve exposed myself as an anti-DeRail Sims troll blue font, I will say that flipping Latimer in this class, who I believe is underrated, would go a long way. Wouldn’t have to gamble on the portal for a more expensive guy.

I would love to see us make a move here but the fact he hasn’t made it to town and is visiting other places tells me this one’s becoming a pipe dream.

We’re saving up to double down in 2027
I hope we hav learned our lesson on paying kids $2mil/year for only potential. They then think they own your program and can tell you how they want you to run it.

If you are going to double down on anything go to the portal and get kids like Star who not only has potential but has demonstrated ability at this level.

Per Wiltfong will be on campus this weekend
I pointed out yesterday how often we've gone up against Ohio State and won in recruiting and people treated me like some insane person. Didn't they just win the Championship? Well, we are recruiting better than they are right now. Our average is higher per player than theirs. And if we beat them out to be one of the last two teams for Hiter, then we beat them out on Latimer (I know I'm projecting) then I would say that just backs up my contention. Maybe the problem really is OSU spends so much on Saftey that they can't afford to beat us out for a RB?

Oh, and it looks like we are ahead of them for Georges too. More projection, I know, but what fun are message boards without a little projection?
