If Milley would have said yes probably nothing would have happened. The CJCS is not in the chain of command. The order would have been issued by the secretary of defense to the secretary of the army then to a field commander. If all of that happened without one of them refusing whoever followed the orders would be subject to prosecution.

He's been elected potus. I don't know what you want. He has a cabinet. I'm positive it's not the only abhorrently anti freedom crap a potus had done/or asked his cabinet about. And I've never voted for Trump. But thanks for randomly showing up and painting with that broad ass brush

I was just trying to get you to admit having someone in there who would say that is the problem. I didn’t say you voted for him, I’m using "you" in the collective. You came really close to admitting it, too.

Look, there is tons of crap that Trump absolutely deserves to be raked over coals for. You don't do anyone any favors by being galacticaly incorrect with your accusation. That's the real point. Say he asked about shooting protestors in the legs. Not some made up fantasy where Espy refused an order he never got and one in which he isn't in the decision making tree.
