OXFORD, Miss. — The No. 3/5 Tennessee soccer team travels to Ole Miss for a Sunday afternoon match.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET and will be streamed on SEC Network+, with Will Kollmeyer (play-by-play), Ian Beyer (analyst) and Loral Winn (sideline) on the call.

Sunday marks the 26th all-time meeting between the two teams, with Tennessee leading the series 19-4-2. The Lady Vols have won the last six matchups dating back to 2016 and are unbeaten in their last 10 trips to Oxford, holding a 9-0-1 record and outscoring Ole Miss 19-8 on the road.

Last time out, Tennessee defeated No. 17 Georgia, extending its win streak to four games and maintaining an undefeated 6-0 record at home. Jenna Stayart and Ally Brown each scored in the win, which marked the fourth time the Lady Vols have faced a ranked opponent this season and the fourth time they've shut out a ranked team.

FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS: Through twelve matches, UT has 10 goal-scorers, including four Lady Vols who have scored two or more goals in a single match. Shae O'Rourke, Anaiyah Robinson and Kate Runyon have registered braces for the Big Orange as Alivia Stott fired five goals against EKU--the stretch marked the most goals ever scored in one half in program history and the shortest span in which a Tennessee player has tallied five goals. Each of her five goals was assisted by a different Lady Vol. In total 15 Lady Vols have recorded at least one assist this season, the most in the SEC.

LOCKDOWN DEFENSE: The Tennessee backline has become a consistent force combined with Sophomore goalie Cayden Norris. Defenders Ally Brown, Leah Klurman, Kennedy Price and Sydney Miller have helped secure seven consecutive shutouts to start the season. Additionally, throughout twelve matches, the UT defense has secured ten clean sheets.

RANKINGS: Tennessee soccer entered the 2025 season unranked but quickly inserted itself into the polls after two top-five wins in three matches to start the season. Currently, the Lady Vols are No. 5 in United Soccer Coaches Poll rankings. UT's highest ranking in the program's history came in week four when the squad earned a No. 1 national ranking.

SCOUTING THE REBELS: Ole Miss enters Sunday's matchup after a 2-0 loss at No. 13 Mississippi State. The Rebels are 0-4-1 in SEC play and 4-5-1 overall. Senior goalkeeper Sidney O'Billovich leads the SEC with 42 saves.

Good luck to Sarah Greiner who transferred to the Miam Hurricanes.I believe she is the only player from last years roster to leave Knoxville in the portal.

Miami Soccer Announces Addition of Eight Transfers

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami soccer program and Head Coach Ken Masuhr have officially announced the additions of eight transfer players ahead of the 2025 season.
Miami’s transfer class includes Sarah Greiner (Forward // Tennessee), Emilie Simpson (Midfielder // Arizona State), Allie Serlanga (Forward // Clemson), Cisel Akgül (Forward // Flagler), Éabha O’Mahony (Defender // Texas), Atlee Olofson (Goalkeeper // Notre Dame), Lauren Rodriguez (Goalkeeper, Columbia), and Nanaka Inaba (Midfielder // Jacksonville State).

“We are thrilled to bring these women into our program, each with extensive playing backgrounds and college soccer experience,” said Masuhr. “They will help us continue to build a competitive foundation of our game model and team culture. These women, along with our signings for the 2025 class, will further add to the framework we are creating and the standards we set and continue to raise.”

Sarah Greiner
Greiner is a forward from Braselton, Georgia who will make her way to Miami after spending the first two seasons of her collegiate career competing for Tennessee. Across two seasons with the Volunteers, she appeared in 17 matches, while making one start.
This past season, Greiner scored one goal, the game-winner in a critical 1-0 victory over Florida to secure a spot in the SEC Tournament. Greiner also recorded one assist on the season in Tennessee’s home opener against Chattanooga.
In her freshman season, Greiner appeared in 13 matches, recording 12 shots, six of which were on frame. She scored one goal in a 4-1 victory over California.
Prior to Tennessee, Greiner attended Flowery Branch High School where she was a three-time First Team All-Region honoree, in addition to being named the 2023 Region 8-AAAAA Player of the Year and the 2024 Hall County Soccer Player of the Year. Greiner scored 129 goals throughout her high school career, and she set the Flowery Branch High School single-season goal record with 54. Greiner played club soccer for GSA where she earned ECNL First Team All-Southeast Conference honors in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
She will have two years of eligibility remaining at Miami.

Her goal against Florida with two minutes left in the regular season got us into the SEC tournament.

Sarah Greiner was the only impact underclassman to leave in the portal last year. She transferred to Miami.

The fact that everyone besides Sarah returned from last year’s squad speaks volumes about our coaching staff and team’s culture. It’s very unusual in today’s climate to keep teams intact. Not only that, Tennessee pulled in 3 of the best SEC players from the portal (unfortunately 2 of them picked up ACL injuries in Shae O’Rourke and Kylee Simmons.)

So back to Greiner. Here are a couple highlights while she was in Knoxville.

Sarah’s goal against Florida last year in a must win match. Without the goal, Tennessee doesn’t make the SEC Tournament or the NCAA Tournament.

Final Lady Vols 1 Gators 0

So why did she leave?

While watching the Hurricanes/Seminoles match Friday, I discovered a very good reason.

Tennessee is in third place in the conference standings, one point behind Arkansas and Mississippi State.

If the Lady Vols win, they will move up to second no matter who wins the Razorbacks/Bulldogs match.

But in case some of you don’t know how the conference points work.
Win = 3
Tie = 1
Loss = 0

So best case scenario, we win, and ARK-MSU Tie.
Tennessee would be alone at the top in First Place with 15 points while they would be tied at 14.

Does anyone call the games over the radio? Am driving to see my parents and would love to listen in. Worst case i can just stream the game via espn on my phone and play the audio through the car sound system.
Unfortunately neither school does a radio broadcast for soccer games.
