**Muffett could develop guards. ** yes, I know Niele was an assistant for all those years, but I’m still not sold on her as a head coach. All the turnover this last year has raised some questions. Plus, her recruiting has been questionable at best. Today doesn’t change those facts for me at least.

Staying with this thread which started in 2022 I found it interesting to read the early observations , for example the first player who responded is now listed #22 a guard from Iowa after her freshman year. lots of names thrown out since this thread began with speculation of what if. And boarders then, without the help of several new EXPERTS were able to converse without that help
I accept that the accusation that I am scarcastic is true as I find several boarders who try so hard to be right, as humorous.

That list is more reasonable to see we still have a pretty good shot at. And the international players. Barnes pulled one in late for the men's team.

Trinity Jones, Brihanna Crittendon, Gabby Minus and Sara Okeke are our best shots.

Okeke is in the same ability class with Edwards. She can dunk with ease and is exceptional driver and inside scorer. Her and Edwards gives us two post players that are in the elite A plus category. You add any of the others to those two and you have the number one class. I'd love to see us get Okeke and the French player that shoots 42 percent from the three. That would fill three of the positions of need for the next season. We could fill the others in the portal.

Certainly Crittendon and Jones think we stand better with Crittendon than Jones.

I am assured we are going to get who we need if not high school then the portal.

See this information is legit... Getting her to Tennessee due to boyfriend going to Colorado as you stated will be a tough pull...

I don't know if I've just missed it, but I keep seeing highlights of her from the 2024 u17 tournament, but she played this year in the u18 Euros

[I don't hav an Okeke highlight cut from the game, but here's the full game in case anyone is interested to skim thru it]

23 points on 11/13, 1/3 FTs, no 3s attempted, 7 rebounds (2o+5d), 3 steals and 2 blocks in 28 minutes of play. Spain outscored Finland +26 in her 28 minutes on the court, and were -17 in the 12 minutes without her.

One of the attributes that Sara Okeke has is she actually jumps high off the ground for the rebounds.....

In Coach Kim's style of rotating 5 fresh players every few minutes, when Big OH is taking a wind break, we would have Sara OKeke terrorizing our opponents from the low post.

And then, just for more inside terror, put the two together down low on the blocks...As a result, songs would be written about their dynamic exploits of intimidation...

The young lady would look outstanding in Tennessee Orange, trimmed with a little Summit Blue...And by the way, number 17 is available too.

If CKC & Lazo have identify their targets that means they have studied film and see exactly where each of these players can fit into the system. I’ve yet to see a coaching staff especially a new staff going into year 2 absolutely dominate a recruiting plan to this extent to sign 15 highly decorated players and counting in this time frame.

Who is we? You nor I are part of this program. As a fan, I will support every player the staff sign(s) to play at UT. I also don’t pretend to understand their strategy for building a team and act as if I know what these professionals know in terms of putting together a team. Some posters on here act as if there’s 30 spots on a roster.
Let the staff decide how they will approach putting together a team and when a player commits that is what matters not speculating on every commitment decision.
