Happy for Nico!

Bingo, except that I'd replace Franklin in your comment with Penn State.

I don't even necessarily dislike Nico - he's a not so bright young guy that took horrid advice from stupid, greedy people and put himself behind the 8-ball career wise. It was the best thing that could have happened to UT.
Yeah, Penn St is pretty high on my 💩 list too.

As for Nico, I hope he ends up at Vandy next year. That'll be fun.

Nico had 6 yards passing in the 2nd half, but he scrambled really well and got the W, despite their terrible defense. Good for him.
It looked like the inverse strategy against him, forcing him to run instead of throw. They did make up a lot of ground so maybe it was the right call.

He’s been about their only bright spot this year - their leading rusher in 3 of their first 4 games and played his best today…I know people don’t like Nico but Penn State losing is a great thing - especially to a 0-4 team…unless UCLA wins 6 or 7 more games, this loss should disqualify PSU from playoff discussion

Penn State, Texas and Iowa State were all ranked above us and all lost today. Not one of them has a quality win. I'm glad we will have a chance to move up.

As for Nico, I can't see holding a grudge against the kid. I believe, as many have said, that he has been influenced by others and taken some bad advice. I also think we were fortunate to have him leave and to get a better QB in the process.
