I was cheering for the tigers. One of my good friends from my first unit is a Detroit everything guy and especially the tigers. He loves baseball maybe as much as I do

after Sparky went to Detroit, I pulled for them as long as they weren't playing Cleveland in the AL
we had relatives in Akron, and I went to as many Tribe games as I did Reds games as a kid
