Israel vs Palestinians II

"Well the protest didn't immediately change everything" yeah, no protest does. Protests are organized by people NOT in power or they wouldn't be protests, we have some real thinkers here

They seen more like trust fund kids who've convinced others to fund their Mediterranean holiday.

Am I the only one who finds it gross that everyone on the left (and wherever Huff wishes to proclaim he is) support the idea that if you are upset with politics you have a right to “shut down” things(railroads, streets, etc)?

Disgusting. Arrest all of them. Bust up their unions.
No. But I just don't care enough to be concerned with it. I have never (knowingly) been impacted by a protest. I also think peaceful protests have their time and place in society.

Agreed with everything except the notion that preventing the free movement of others is “peaceful”. The same with destruction of private property

In the US, protesting on a street is supposed to be by permit only. It gives the city time to close off the street for everyone's safety and convenience. Exactly like is done for a parade. I don't have a problem with that protest either.

If permitted, yes. I have no issue. My issue is the “we are going to randomly shutdown the interstate during rush hour”.

A protest that is conducted within carefully-defined parameters set by the people one is protesting against - also careful to not subject even one other person to a minor inconvenience - is not very much of a protest
