Jermod McCoy...

Right now, still expecting him back. Believe he will play remainder, beginning either Arkansas or Bama. I think it'll take some time for him to get back to solid/good/maybe even REALLY good; but, i dont expect him to get back to elite/best corner in college football level anytime this year. I hope! I know we've come a long way from Jamal; but, whenever I think of ACL, I think of him. He was a shell of himself his Jr. year (even still, having 800 yds rushing, 4.5 ypc, 7 TDs, while sharing the backfield with another all-time great)...he wasnt THE GREAT Jamal Lewis. So great, he bounced back and went on to become one of the top 10 to 15 GOATs at RB.

IF!!! McCoy is not back by Arkansas, I'll start wondering a bit.

If he's not back by Bama, I dont believe he plays this year.

Im sure lots of you feel the same about McCoy? Some of you already believe he's not coming back.

ACL replacement surgery has come a LONG, LONG way since Jamal Lewis’ days in college.

I’m nervous.
They’re a wounded animal backed into a corner.
They have playmakers.
They will have the element of surprise/unknown.
They have a wild card coach.

Comments already being made about how the team has nothing to prepare for.

Hope they’re ready. They could easily get bit in this scenario.

If we dont get on them early, and put it away...Im talking 3+ TD lead at half or early 3rd, we'll be in for a dogfight. While I dont believe our defense is as bad as it's been made out to be, our offense cant put them in bad situations multiple times like MSU. Offense has to bring the dagger. Score, and score often, fast, I don't believe they can hang with us. Turn it over, and put it in Green's hands more times than it should be...I dont want to be in that situation. That could be a nightmare.

I know.

Do you expect McCoy to be elite anytime this season? Before he got hurt, here was the best corner in the country...you expect him to return to that form in 5 to 7 games? I hope so. Maybe by last game or postseason. But, yeah...a long way. Jamal is still who I think of, though.
