It's strange that trump supporters dont get he is taking their rights too. And hes only going to turn on them after hes done with the left. Happily, we wont have to deal with the implications of an occupied city during an election until next year.

No. But when they don’t have the votes to get their proposals passed enacted; they can either a) join with the majority of the Senate and pass a spending bill or b) be responsible for a shutdown.
That is the nature of being in the minority in congress; you cannot pass anything positive; you can only block the majority.
So in that case; who is responsible for the shutdown; the majority trying to get a straight up or down vote or the side blocking a vote?

Hegseth seemed To be practicing for a role in a b grade movie. He doesn't know generals or admirals don't charge enemy lines or engage in hand to hand. But let's take senior officers away from duties to pt daily.
Going back to the days of slapping recruits around will bring back the draft. Ole Pete is an incompetent idiot.

Why does a private have to participate in daily group PT if they can pass their PT test?

It could also be a ploy to get some of the lard azzes to retire.

Trump and his administration are confusing to me. I agree in principle with a lot of what he is doing, but my gosh, it’s a bunch of blowhards and come across as idiots. Especially Trump and Hegseth. Nothing objectively I can point to, I just can’t stand these guys. You can call it TDS or whatever makes you feel better, but I just don’t like the guy or how he does things. The lying, speaking with authority on things he knows nothing about…it’s all aiken to a bad Saturday Night Live skit and people seem to be good with it because most important of all functions of a president seems to be whatever drives the other party crazy. Not being a mature leader that understands nuance of governing.

Vance, on the other hand, seems like the adult in the room, very intelligent with great interpersonal skills. Can we just have him run things and make decisions?
