'25 Recruiting Forum: Official Mississippi State vs Tennessee Pre-game/Game Thread

Think thats a good team and happy for a W, but that last 1:25 clock management is greatly worrisome IMO

CJH made the same strategy decision that he did in Georgia. Don’t lose in regulation at the expense of being aggressive to win.

should have shaved some time but let too much go to early. Live, Learn, grow and advance.

We got screwed on the Brazzell penalty costing us a TD so I guess we deserved to come out on top in OT. If we don’t figure out how to set the edge on D then we’re going to lose several more.
On the flip side, I can appreciate the RBs aren't being taught to just bounce everything outside. But there were times Mississippi State collapsed and Thomas in particular was looking for a hole that didn't exist, with no one on the edge.

The 22 offense was so dominant because it felt like they could run it on anybody. If we don't improve running the ball, games like this can happen. A couple of miscommunications, tipped balls, etc and you are in a game with a team you are way better than.

Gotta win the ugly ones too.

Credit to Staley, he had an absolutely dreadful game but he did have a key first down conversion late that showed he never quit.

There will be some teaching happening in the film room these next two weeks I think, lol. Tons of mistakes, many of them unforced. Have to be better than that. But better to do it after a win than a loss.

think several things are tue, like told me dad last week. Lebbyc is coach. MSU is better than we thought.

We arent as good as we thought.

Hypeful has to keep the aggression.

Banks is dogshit.
