The takeaway for me is not that the media sucks at their job, it is just that this preseason stuff is impossible and pointless.

No serious person would have put Aguilar at the top of this list. Heupel himself hooked up to a lie detector would not have put Aguilar on top of this list.

Yes, Sellers and Lagway are terrible and I think a lot of us knew they were terrible. But you're still left with the task of replacing them on the list.

After watching him play last year, and looking at those 6800 yards and 56 passing touchdowns in 2 seasons, I definitely called my shot on him and Heupel meshing (much to the chagrin of the FF). Putting him at the very bottom of the list is just lazy analysis. If there was any analysis at all

Truly believe the game this weekend will be a 52-38 type of game. I think we win comfortably as I don’t think they can really stop our offense. But they will score with the way our defense is playing. I pray we see Carter and Spillman for 65% of the linebacker snaps.

I certainly hope we don’t let Miss State score 38 points on this defense. That doesn’t bode well for better offenses we’ll face the rest of the year.

Apparently Mississippi State's defense is all about taking away the deep ball.

They are 14th in the country in passing yards allowed giving up only 129 yards a game.

They're longest completion given up is 37 yards.

That being said, we are by far the best passing offense they have played so far.

That's fine. We're due for a 300 yard rushing game.

I think their defense can be had big time. Also last week a starting LB didnt play and not sure where he is at currently. Also the safety Manning may or may not play.

Yeah I think they are getting way too much credit for beating a middle of the pack Big 12 team. I think we bring them back to reality this Saturday.

Hyatt was a fast receiver who played in a different version of our offense. He was not asked to run complex routes and we utilized wide splits to bust him wide open. This was also before teams adjusted their defense to what CJH was doing offensively. The result was what you saw.

NFL teams play their safeties back quite a bit and everyone is fast in that league. Combine that with the fact that he is on a terrible Giants team and this is your result. Nabers is on that team, and he is their WR1 by a large margin.

Speaking as a guy who has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, if Mateer gets back to being able to play SEC games at even close to 100% in a month after surgery on his throwing hand, OU’s doctors and therapists/trainers deserve some serious NIL money.

Seriously, we need to push for JA to get another year here at QB... He's legit been to community college for two seasons, so he should definitely qualify if pushed for another year... I know we got screwed in baseball with the UNC kid having the exact same criteria as Pavia and got denied, but this is football vs football and if Pavia gets another year for CC, then it should be a slam dunk for JA...

The official SEC graphic was wrong, it had TN going to Kentucky 2 years in a row. So it’s actually 5 home games in 2028 not 4.

Looks like 5 SEC home games on even numbered years and 4 SEC home games on the odd numbered years

a bit harsh don't ya think? Someone with a Doctorate in PT knows the recovery periods for all types of surgeries/injuries, sometimes more than the surgeon ... One of my good friends is a PT and owns a very large, multibranch PT business with offices across the state and you'd think you were talking with an orthopedic surgeon with what he's had to go through and what he knows and has seen/worked with...

I went and looked up all the old East teams A&M played since joining the league in 2012 to include this season. The second number by each team was in College Station.

Florida: 2-4
UGA: 1-0
UK: 0-1
MIzz: 3-3
USCe: 5-6
TN: 2-1
Vandy: 1-2

The conf definately could have done a better job of scheduling as it relates to A&M with the exception of USCe which was their permeant cross division game.

Mississippi State had a really good first half against Arizona State, but the ASU offense started to figure somethings out in the second half. A couple things of interest is that ASU started to find success running out of the pistol and in 12 personnel in the second half.

I predicted he would have 3,100yds+ and 30+ tds with around 10ints. I was mocked, made fun of behind my back, and had my good name run into the ground on here. . .
