It has been recognized. At least by the sane among us. It's not sustainable in its current form and there's no hope on the horizon that a fix is on the way. Pessimistic I know, but you should see some of the fan apathy at some of these programs with historically large fan support.

Florida doesn't have Texas money. It would still be the 2nd or 3rd highest buyout ever paid.

It's $19.38 million. That is a drop in the bucket in today's environment.

Why wouldn’t the AD wait until 4 games were played and the kids had used their redshirt?

Doesn't he have a pretty steep buyout? I would have to look it up but Florida might be reticent to pay a big buyout after giving Billy 20 million to golf for the next however many years. Remember 50% of that is due up front.

Yikes! It's 12 million dollars. That's unreal. No way Florida pays that. He also makes 7.5 m/yr which is about what Napier makes. Florida would have to up that substantially and probably give an obscene guarnantee. Here's how much UW's new head football coach, Jedd Fisch, will make on his contract

I mean I’m a big complainer on gamedays but that is asinine. It’s mostly a personnel problem or lack there of, especially with the recent injuries on D. Get healthy and see where the chips fall. The SEC is wide open this year so we still have a chance. I still gotta think 9-3 could potentially get us in the CFP.

This season will play out like last. We’ll enter Vandy game at 9-2 at worst and they think they’ll play spoiler to our CFP bid, but we will destroy them.
