We have been recruiting just fine in defense for years now. Coming in all we heard about was our depth on the d line.
This is all on the offense going into a shell once they got the 21-7 lead.

I agree. Get a two score lead and completely abandon the deep ball throws. You have to stay aggressive against a team like this because they will make adjustments.
