Yep, we would all disagree and go ‘whatever’ and go about our day if we disagreed with someone not continue to harp on itI agree...however America and Americans were objectively better off BEFORE the smartphone and S.M. existed. At 48yo I am part of the last generation that knows what it was like to grow up and live without the internet, SM, and smartphones. People were FAR more motivated and productive. Less distracted, LAZY, and ignorant. Young people today have LESS knowledge than their parents. Score lower on the same standardized tests. Are more depressed and mentally ill than ever before. Actually studying and reading books about every subject has turned into simply typing the question into Google or AI and copy/pasting THEIR information. Nothing gets retained as knowledge because no effort was exerted. No new neural pathways were formed to store the memories. The whole Western world has gone to crap since smartphones and SM came to everyone.
Yep, we would all disagree and go ‘whatever’ and go about our day if we disagreed with someone not continue to harp on itin the real world I can get along with just about anyone, but I think younger folks especially have a really hard time separating the two and understanding virtual world does not have greater importance and that is where the majority of our problems started
i mean its not like theyre putting him in a casket made of gold and holding 14 funerals for him.
I think she was just making an observation, you're really on one todayBlame the virtual space. How gen X of you.
I think she was just making an observation, you're really on one today. I mean she's at least a little correct, for example there's no way youd be such an antagonist to people in real life. A nice punch to the face has humbled many. Myself included.
It's why liberals primarily argue in screeching noises when discourse happens in public.
