Charlie Kirk Shot and killed

True, but also consider Weimar Republic in the 20s and Hitler's gun control act of 1938. Both show what can come from a disarmed populace. Also of note are some similarities between our own gun control act of 1968 and that of Hitler's 1938 legislation. People are fallen and sinful by nature. If they want to kill someone, they will find a tool/way to do it. Anything can be misused. Laws will not stop evil. Right now our laws aren't even being enforced in many instances. Having said all that, I most certainly do not trust our or any other government. You give anyone complete control and it leads to dictators/despots. The old saying... power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely is very true. It's simply our fallen, human nature coming to the surface. With what we've seen of our elected and judicial officials, who in their right mind would trust any of them to have OUR best intentions at heart and give up our means of self defense? Insanity.
The first murder was committed with a rock.

He probably doesn't think anyone he agrees with could possibly be polarzing
Cute of you Bernard. Everything you post here is garbage. Charlie was exactly the opposite, regardless of your side of the isle. If you disagreed with him, he gave you a platform to talk about it and explain your side, then hear is. Not sure how you classify that as “polarizing”. His entire organization was literally built on free speech and hearing people, even through disagreement, you know, the way it should be. If being firm in your faith and beliefs is polarizing, then I’m glad I don’t associate with vermin like yourself. It’s a far cry from the garbage on your side calling for riots and unrest when they disagree with something. No one on either side deserves this, yet here you are trying to justify it. Disgusting.

No need for that crap.

I’m ok with it…we need more of it we’ve sat on our hands and feet kept our mouths shut and never said a word from Covid,Benghazi and all the ******** Biden policy’s,DEI,Riots …now we’re pissed.. this playing out reminds me of the movie “ V for vendetta” everything that happened in that movie has slowly been happening here

Sure.

But the ramifications from this death have far greater social and political implications than 99/5 of other murders.
Agree it does. But it should not. The deaths of the many school children killed each year should be way out in the front of our concerns.

The hate is predominantly on the left. Why is that? Why is there no conservative movement to kill Steven Colbert (a prominent left wing voice)? Because conservatives are fine having a debate. Liberals have to resort to killing in order to silence someone. Conservatives say to Biden supporters "we think you're misguided and disagree with you politically" but they don't take it personal. Liberals say to MAGA folks "you're a bad human being". That's the difference
Agree. This is happening because the left cannot win on ideas so they resort to racial segregation, name calling and violence. It’s all they have today.

The decision is being made …..do we want to be a country of The Squad, Bernie, and Mandami or a country of Charlie Kirk, Vance, Rubio and Trump?

You see how the left is gleeful this happened.
Imagine the celebrations they would throw if it had been the top guy they want silenced.
The left would call for a national holiday.

Trump and Charlie were the “STOP” sign to the hate and divisiveness that has been continually spewed by the left over the years on conservatives. These two said “enough!” They have taken the mantle to turn this country around and get it back on track with the Constitution as our guide.

This is what the Left is afraid of….THE Truth backed by the Constitution. It cannot be beaten in the arena of ideas. Charlie was the Rush Limbaugh to the young generation.

This is not the end….only the beginning!

RIP Charlie Kirk
THIS is divisive.

I am not on any side. I didn't try to justify anything. Sorry. It's a terrible tragedy. We must heal as a nation ASAP. I am sorry you feel the need to fabricate my positions in order to have a confrontation. Grow up

Whether you agree with Charlie Kirk’s positions or not, he was about public debate, participation, and exercising one’s franchise. Debating differences and voting are the American way. Civil discourse, including lively debate, and voter participation are needed now more than ever. In this, he was a populist.

Caveat: Yes, Kirk spoke of the number of registrations submitted to Maricopa county as being an attempt to be disruptive to the election process. That was an expression of his viewpoint. I do not believe that he was fearful of voter participation or supportive of efforts to suppress citizens’ rights to vote. On the contrary, he sought to persuade eligible voters to his point of view and convince them to vote Republican.

I disagree. This was a missed head shot. This was a practiced novice IMO, similar to the Trump shooter.
100% agree. No one trains to shoot the neck. It’s not the guaranteed off switch, not as much as others anyway. People saying this was a pro don’t know guns. This was a missed shot due to elevation. However, I disagree with placement.

An average round, let’s say .223 is going to impact very high in relation to a rifle sighted on level ground from the angle of that elevated shooter at 200 yds. I think this shooter was shooting center mass, it’s the easiest, largest target and great chance for hitting organs, spine, etc. If he aimed center, but wasn’t trained on elevation, etc that round is going to strike 3-6 inches high(depending on round, elevation, rifle). Which is exactly where the round impacted.

This wouldn’t have taken any skill with a sighted in rifle. Not exaggerating, my 7 year old could make the shot laying in a prone position given a $200 wal mart scope.
