I tried telling everyone earlier that there was no real competition between Merk and JA. Merk is not part of our future. I think the staff believes it is better to keep a third qb than it is to give an insignificant amount of increased reps to GMAC.

GMac is just really good.

100% GMac will be the guy coming out of summer next year and Fazion will be ready and willing to back up or take over. Merk will be 3rd Qb and up to him if he stays or goes.

I really believe that if Lurch doesn't get injured, Georgia wins it all. Kirby has mismanaged the quarterback situation his entire tenure at Georgia. QBs that have left under Kirby: Jacob Eason, Justin Fields, JT Daniels, and Brock Vandagriff.

this is also a UGA OL that doesnt quite look like the ones we are used to.

Last yrs unit had three top 3 round draft picks and another on a roster as a free agent..All that with a QB in Beck who is prob at worst a 2nd round pick this yr .This current OL is having some protection issues against APSU and Marshall bc they are pretty young. Neyland environment could really play a part here.

Theres a real recipe here to take advantage of…..Environment, QB thats not seeing things and lacking confidence and a young OL.

That's all true. He and their offense is a ?. We all seem to agree on that. He could do a lot. We could do a lot to mess him up.

The last two seasons Tennessee has done some really different stuff on d. They now have the the personnel and flexibility to show multiple looks and play virtually any scheme. The days of strictly soft zone coverage are over.

I think arrogance is a mask people put over insecurity. We don't call people who are confident arrogant. They can back it up.
