Example (for those who actually have positions on key issues):
You have researched, thought about, and discussed directions you would prefer to see the country move. You believe in a woman's right to abort her baby, a more graduated taxation system that relies more on the wealthy to support low/no-income citizens, more-open borders, single party/ government-run healthcare, a heavy shift away from fossil fuels with government incentives/mandates, etc.
If you voted for Kamala (or whoever is next in line with a "D" next to his or her name), that would not make you "dumb." In fact, voting for the Republican candidate would make no sense at all. My critique would be that your positions on these issues are not the best for this country (or are unethical, in some cases), not that you are an idiot for voting a certain way.
