I’ve got a question. I’m watching the Illinois vs Duke game. The WR catches the ball his foot touches down in the end zone but the ball never goes into the end zone. Marked at the 1. If a running back gets his feet into the end zone but he has the ball on the outside arm and it never crosses the end zone, but is called a touchdown. Why are the rules different?
