I don't understand why Massie doesn't defeat the statement? What does December 2024 have to do with it? You think he only became interested because he could fight his own party about it? Maybe he finally thought we had an admin who would make it happen.

I think Massie got onto it in December because his party was behind it. now he is sticking to his guns; but I won't pretend like starting 7 years after everything was finalized was ever him caring about the actual subject matter. Massie has been in office since 2012, plenty of time before 2024 to raise up an important issue like this.

my point is that I don't think he actually cares about the rape, and I don't think his main concern is transparency or justice like he claims.

Honestly, I wasn't all that interested in the files until they started acting like there was something to hide. I figured if there is anything to get a big scalp, the evidence was already destroyed. But then they started acting like that wasn't the case.

Wondering out loud if we should start a new thread devoted solely to all the illegal **** that Trump has done that has now being overturned by the Judicial Branch.

Feel like it's now encompassing most all of Dumb Donnie's "major victories" aka "Executive Over-reaches":

* Deportation of undocumented immigrants without due process.
* Imposing tariffs by pretending that he's Congress.
* Invading "blue" cities like Los Angeles with the National Guard.

So you're admitting that the Supreme Court has been stacked (6-3 including 3 appointed by the Orange Menace) such that it will make rulings contrary to the lower courts ruling against Trump.

You could. But threads on legal stuff and court rulings typically play out over the long term. Adn by the time the appeal/overturn/upheld ruling hits most people have lost interest and moved on.

An example is the NYDA case against trump.
