The prominent people go beyond political parties and the US but yeah I'm sure that is part of it. Another is that he was an intelligence asset for us and probably another allied nation.

The "Democrat Hoax" is the absurd assumption that Trump is somehow implicated in the files because there is no way that wouldn't have leaked before the election. So yes it's another Democrat hoax just like Russia. What happened to those young girls is horrible and Epstein's co conspirators(Clinton, Prince Andrew etc...) should pay if anything concrete comes out which ties them to the molestation. However, the hoax is the Democrats desperate attempt to say Trump is suddenly guilty or hiding something after having control of the files for years and doing nothing to release them. 2 Assassination attempts, Countless lawsuits that have since been overturned and everything else they could throw at him before the election but they sat on info about Trump and Epstein? Sure thing.........

I understand all that. Not saying Trump is involved. Yes I know Democrats are trying to use this terrible situation for political points. They could have released this stuff a long time ago. Just wish he wouldn’t use the word Hoax on this issue and call the Democrats out a different way

Of course opponents of Trump, be they D's or R's, are backing the release of all the files. But can you blame them for being suspicious that Trump is in there in some very bad way, given the way Trump, Bondi, and others in the administration have botched this at every turn?

Not really if they released everything what do people think will happen? There is no way regardless who is in charge names of victims or perpetrators will be released.

It's my understanding that hundreds and hundreds of people visited his island or his home(s). There is no proof any of them did anything wrong. Let's say all those names are released and it includes names of current & former elected and unelected government officials from around the world? Hundreds of CEOs of major companies?

What good comes of that?

if Trump is included, would do you believe their info?
if Trump isn't included, would you believe their info?
Do we trust them to actually name everyone, or is it going to be a partial list? partisan or otherwise?

I am not sure how much I am willing to take them at their word as far as it being an actionable item to arrest anyone. maybe just to open up new investigations. but if its as bad as it could be, no way they remember everyone, and actually get all the names out.

It lets us know who still associated with him on a personal level (those that visited his island and homes) after he was convicted of sex crimes.

Also do we know if these girls were drugged or drunk when this was happening .that also will lower thier recollection of things ???
