I thought he looked really good. Had 4-5 bad drops. He ran the offense very efficiently and with tempo. He could actually go through progressions and improvise. That’s a close game with Nico at quarterback. Easy to see why the team rally’s around him because he’s got such a calm demeanor. It’s one game but the fact he’s only been on campus 4 months and ran the offense better than the past two who had way more time in the system is encouraging. Defense definitely took a step back but we did have some pretty big players out. Wide receiver is still a bit of a concern as well but the O line looked good and our running back room is stacked. Great week one made phenomenal because the gumps got beat.Aguilar, much better than you expected?
Pretty wild how satisfied most of us are with his performance when you look at his stats and see that he can get a whole lot better.
I doubt Alabama has the stomach to pay a coach they just hired 2-years ago 70 million to not coach at Alabama. Maybe I'm wrong. Been before. Will be again.Funniest thing is I can genuinely see bama losing 5 games this year, and what makes that even funnier is that say bama does indeed go 7-5, they can’t even fire Debor because if they did, what coach would want to go to a place that fired someone for a 7 win season and 16-9 in total?
I hope Bama does something stupid and fires him and it drains their NIL money for the buyout of all those coaches then he takes the whole staff to Arkansas along with half the recruits and beats themI doubt Alabama has the stomach to pay a coach they just hired 2-years ago 70 million to not coach at Alabama. Yea back when he had real opinions and real takes, he was quite enjoyable to watch, and hell that was back when we sucked (so it’s not like he was loving on TN back then lol). Now he just spews nonsense and falls in line with all the other talking heads. Pretty disappointing.Josh Pate says what he is paid to say. The idea that guy expresses a single genuine opinion is laughable. Clearly he's all about the $$. I wish more fans realized this is how sports media works.
