I find it hard to get too excited about recruiting these days with our history of busts and the emergence of the portal, but if we could have a true 5 star quarterback throwing to a true 5 star receiver for 3 years, that would be a real treat that we haven’t had since the glory days.

Tristen Keys is #6 overall in the 247 Sports Class of 2026 Composite Football Player Rankings, and I saw how they celebrated on Tigerdroppings when he chose LSU in March.

That's a bad case of sour grapes, but I guess every fan base does it.

Only Texas on 247 have more top 100 commitments (9) in this cycle among sec schools and both Keys and Faizon ahead of their top recruit.

Don’t think we would trade for anyone’s top 10 recruits with our top 10. Truly elite class. Championship recruiting class.

This IS a championship class. Especially stacked on top of the 25 class. This class was absolutely LOADED already with the #1 QB, #1 ATH, #2 ATH, nasty WRs, 4 really good Olinemen including 2 MONSTER Tackles, #74 LB, #75 LB overall ....those are just the highlights. To add the #1 WR is just crazy. The 4 new WRs are ALL incredible athletes recruited HARD by Bama, UGA, suckeyes, etc.

Yall Negas still gonna gripe about Pope all the time??? He just landed the best WR class since the 90s...after really good WR classes in 24 and 25. He is now the #2 ranked recruiter in this 2026 cycle. Dude needs a raise ASAP he only makes $250k which is a lot in my world but not for SEC coaches. Pay the man UT. $$$

Tennessee finally got over the hump for Tristen Keys as he made it official on Thursday. This was trending for quite a while and he was set to pull the trigger multiple times in the last month. He was set to go last Sunday, but had to push it back and finally got it done on Thursday. Credit Kelsey Pope as he was the driving force in this flip. His relationship was really strong and you could see it in our talk with him about his decision.
